Description
These are a row of ten almshouses located on Church Lane in Berkswell, built in 1853. They are constructed of red brick and feature a tiled roof with six gables. The buildings are two storeys high and have a first-floor band, along with wooden eaves and bargeboards that include finials. On the first floor, there are three small casement windows. The ground floor has six larger casement windows that are flush set, equipped with glazing bars, wooden mullions, and transoms, all positioned under slightly cambered arches. There are also three doorways. These almshouses are noted for their group value, as they are part of a collection that includes Banbury Cottage, Spring Croft, and Spring Cottage.
