Description

The Post Office Village Stores is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Church Lane in Berkswell. It is constructed of colour-washed brick and features an old tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three nearly flush casement windows with glazing bars, each topped with slightly cambered arches. On the ground floor, there is a double segmental bowed shop window on the left and a boarded door positioned to the right of centre. The Village Stores is part of a group that includes a cottage to the east, a house to the west, a house next to the Village School, and the Village School itself.
