Description

The stable block at Castle Bromwich Hall, dating from the early 18th century, has been altered over time. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with modern box dormers. The building has two storeys and attics, with a large central semi-circular archway flanked by smaller similar end arches. It includes two-light lattice casement windows set beneath cambered arches with keystones, and a central cupola. This stable block is part of a group that includes Castle Bromwich Hall, the bakehouse, pigeon house, east and west forecourt walls, and the walls to the north, east, and south sides of the garden, as well as a flight of steps and pedestals in the west garden, along with the gatepiers to the forecourt of Castle Bromwich Hall on Birmingham Road.
