Description

The East Forecourt Wall and West Forecourt Wall at Castle Bromwich Hall date from the late 17th century or early 18th century and were raised in the 19th century to match the height of the band above the ground floor windows of the Hall. These walls are constructed of red brick and feature pedimented arched gateways along with moulded coping. They play an important role in the formal layout of the site and are included for their group value with other structures at Castle Bromwich Hall, such as the Bakehouse, Stable Block, Pigeon House, and various garden walls and steps.
