Description

The flight of steps and pedestals in the west garden at Castle Bromwich Hall is a 19th-century feature consisting of six stone steps that are flanked by four pedestals designed for urns. This structure replaces a late 17th-century semi-circular flight of steps. It is included in the listing for its group value with other structures at Castle Bromwich Hall, such as the Ball, Bakehouse, Stable Block, Pigeon House, East and West Forecourt Halls, and the walls surrounding the garden, as well as the gatepiers to the forecourt of Castle Bromwich Hall on Birmingham Road.
