Description

The Bottom Lock of the flight of six on the Titford Branch of the Birmingham Canal was opened in 1838. It features a brick chamber with sandstone kerbs, although some of these have been partly replaced by concrete. The lock has single gates and cast iron sluice gear located at the upstream end.
