Description

The front boundary wall and gate piers to number 39 on Wellington Road were built between 1825 and 1830. They feature a pair of large cruciform gate piers made of stucco, each with coupled angle pilasters on every arm. The piers have moulded plinths and entablatures, topped with pedimented caps that include corner blocks. To the north, there is a short brick wall that connects to a brick boundary pier, which also has a pedimented cap. The longer section of the wall to the south ends at a similar pier.
