Description

This is a block of eight flats, built around 1908 as part of the Harborne Tenants’ Estate Limited, designed by Martin and Martin. The building is an asymmetrical design, constructed of red brick with some timber cladding, and has a tile roof. It is two stories high and four flats wide. Each flat has a projecting timber-clad bay, with the two outer bays gabled and the two inner bays having hipped roofs. A timber-clad gabled dormer window is positioned between the inner bays. Flat entrances are located within the projecting bays, with ground floor entrances slightly below pavement level, and upper floor entrances reached by steps. All windows are casement style, with the ground floor windows featuring segmental heads.
