Description

This building is a block of six flats, part of the Harborne Tenants’ Estate Limited development of around 1908, designed by Martin and Martin. It is an asymmetrical composition. The exterior is red brick with roughcast rendering, topped by a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and three flats wide, with each flat featuring a projecting roughcast gabled bay with battered sides. The recessed and arched entrances to the flats are within these bays; the ground floor entrances are slightly below pavement level, whilst the upper floor entrances are accessed by bridges supported on exposed steel joists. All windows are casements, and those on the ground floor have segmental heads.
