Description

The Methodist Church on South Street in Harborne was built in 1868. It is constructed of red brick with some polychrome detailing and minimal stone dressings, topped with a shaped slate roof. The church features a nave and a lower, narrower west porch bay, alongside a southwest spire. The spire is square at the base and has a Romanesque-style wheel window, transitioning to an octagonal shape with lancet windows. The nave is divided into bays by buttresses that have tumbled brick set-offs, with windows in between that feature brick tracery.
