Description
Circa 1900, these are a symmetrical group of semi-detached houses designed by W. A. Harvey in Bournville. The houses are constructed with roughcast rendering, and have a tile roof. They are two storeys high, with the first floor projecting slightly forward supported on brackets. The block is five bays wide, with numbers 2 and 4 slightly advanced and featuring half-timbered gables also supported on brackets. The ground floor has a recessed porch at number 10, a three-light window, the entrance to number 9, a four-light window, another four-light window, the entrance to number 8, a further four-light window, and finally the entrance to number 7 within its own porch. The first floor has a canted bay window, two four-light windows set under the eaves, and a further canted bay window. All windows are casement style with leaded lights, except those in the bay at number 2, which have been altered.
