Description

Nos 11 and 12 Holly Grove are a pair of houses dating from around 1900, designed by W. A. Harvey. They are constructed of brick with a tile roof. The houses are two storeys high and have four bays, with the second and fourth bays projecting forward and gabled, though in an asymmetrical arrangement. The ground floor has a two-light window with a semi-circular relieving arch, which serves as the entrance to No 12, another two-light window with a relieving arch, and three altered windows arranged in a narrow-wide-narrow rhythm. The first floor features a three-light window, a canted bay window with a tiled "apron" which forms a porch to the door below, a single light window, and another three altered windows matching the ground floor arrangement. All windows are casements. The entrance to No 11 is located on the right-hand return.
