Description

No 231 on Bristol Road is a Gothic-style villa built around 1840-1850. It features three bays and is constructed from red brick with stucco dressings. The design is similar to that of No 229, with a broad left-hand bay that is set forward to create a balanced appearance. The villa has cut bargeboards and a finial on the gable, as well as mullion-transom casement windows and a gabled porch. All architectural details are consistent with those found on No 229.
