Description

The Statue of Thomas Attwood, located in New Park, was created in 1859 by the sculptor Peter Hollins. It is a marble standing figure dressed in contemporary attire, positioned on a grey granite pedestal. This pedestal is set on a high octagonal plinth made of ashlar stone, which features a cast iron panelled parapet capping. Originally, the statue was located in Calthorpe Park.
