Description

The stable and coach house block on the west side of Lloyds Farmyard dates from the late 18th century. It is a two-storey structure built of red brick, square in plan, featuring a steep hipped tiled roof topped with a ship weathervane on a bellcote. The building has two hipped dormers and a hatch leading to the first-floor hayloft. There is a large flush panel door to the stable, which is sheltered by a flat hood supported on shaped brackets. To the south, there is a one and a half storey coach house wing that includes three gabled dormers along the moulded brick eaves. The coach house has large round arched fielded panel double doors.
