Description

Holly Grove comprises a group of four semi-detached houses dating from around 1900 and designed by W.A. Harvey. The houses exhibit a variety of decorative treatments. The first bay is roughcast with tall, battered buttresses and a hipped roof, projecting forward and featuring a shallow bow window on brackets to the ground floor and a five-light window above. Bays two and three are also roughcast, with entrances to houses number two and three, a band of half-timbering to the first floor, and a gabled dormer window in the roof. The fourth bay is predominantly half-timbered with brick infill, projecting forward and with a gable. This bay features a rectangular bay window to the ground floor and a three-light gabled bay window with side lights above. Casement windows throughout have leaded lights. Entrances to houses one and four are located on the returns.
