Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed cottage that has been largely refaced in red brick. The timber framing is visible on the front elevation, and it features a steeply pitched thatched roof with gabled ends. The cottage is built on sandstone foundations and has one storey with an attic. It includes 2:3:4-light casements and a modern plank door topped with a thatched hood. There are three eyebrow dormers at the eaves and three brick chimney stacks along the ridge.
