Description

The Red Cottage is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage. In the mid-19th century, it was completely covered with red brick. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, with gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, featuring a single gabled dormer window. There are two windows with two lights each, featuring segmental brick heads, and a simple plank front door. 19th-century brick chimney stacks are also present.
