Description
The Cedars comprises a late 18th-century west front block and an earlier, circa 17th or earlier, rear block. The west front is constructed of grey brick with a slate roof, featuring coped gable ends and modillion brackets to the eaves. It is three storeys high, with three windows. The windows are sash windows, with the ground floor sashes having side lights, all incorporating glazing bars. A central doorway is distinguished by fluted pilasters and an entablature, panelled reveals, a rectangular fanlight, and a panelled door. The rear (east) block shows the original structure as plastered timber framing, with a steeply pitched gable-ended roof covered in pantiles.
