Description
Church Farmhouse is a 16th century building with later alterations. It has a timber-frame structure that is roughcast, with a brick-faced south end. The roof is covered with pantiles and features gable ends. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, which has windows in the gable ends. The long building has three widely spaced windows, which are three-light casements with leaded panes. On the ground floor, there are two modern French windows and an early 19th century doorcase that includes reeded pilasters, an entablature with a fluted frieze, and a dentilled cornice. The door has a glazed top panel. At the rear, there is a three-light wood mullion window with a moulded cill on the first floor, along with a short gabled wing. The building also features brick chimney stacks.
