Description
The Church of St Michael, located on Church Lane in Long Stratton, is primarily a 14th-century building featuring a nave and chancel with arch-braced roofs. It has a south porch and a low west tower topped with moulded coping and a later wooden louvred bellcote. The east window showcases reticulated tracery. The church is constructed of flint and has pantile roofs. Inside, there is a 15th-century font adorned with four lions and angels, along with 15th-century bench ends that have poppy-heads or castellated tops. A late 17th-century communion rail with balusters and an early 18th-century communion table are also present. The nave contains stained glass fragments in the window heads.
