Description

The barn north of The Old Rectory is a Grade II listed building located on Church Lane in Long Stratton. The west end of the barn dates from the 17th century and features timber framing with plaster, while the north side has modern weatherboarding. It has a pantile roof with gabled ends and modern double doors. The east end was rebuilt in the mid-19th century using red brick, which includes a coped gable end and an addition for stables that has a lower pantile roof. This section also features brick dentil eaves, a stable door, and a loft door at the end.
