Description

Hill Wootton Bridge is a small bridge dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, located over the River Avon. It features two semicircular stone arches that have keyblocks and a string course at road level. The bridge has parapets with plain copings and square piers at each end. Some parts of the bridge were rebuilt in brick during the late 19th century. Note that part of the bridge is situated in Leek Wootton Parish.
