Description
Loes Grange is a timber-framed house built around 1600 or possibly earlier. It has red brick infill panels and sandstone foundations. The steeply pitched roof is covered in plain tiles and has gabled ends. The house is two storeys high and has a U-shaped plan, with two projecting cross-wings at each end and a recessed central portion. Modern casement windows with glazing bars are fitted. Two brick chimney stacks are located on the end wings. The building was formerly known as Middle Woodloes Farmhouse.
