Description

The punishment stocks, located 3 yards south of the Saxon Mill on Coventry Road in Leek Wootton, date from the 17th century. They are made of wood and include a plank bench. An inscription on the stocks states, "These original public punishment stocks were removed and restored from outside the gates of Warwick Castle July 1st 1957."
