Description

74 Smith Street is a two-storey house dating from the early 15th century, featuring three bays. The upper storey has fairly close set studding with curved bracing in the centre bay. It has cottage-type casement windows. The lower storey is made of stonework, which was likely rebuilt in the 18th century and is now painted. There is an 18th-century sash window in a cased frame and old tiles on the roof. A modern recessed shop window is located on the right side of the building. This property is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side of Smith Street, ranging from numbers 54 to 76.
