Description
Number 19 on High Street is a Grade II listed building dating from 1781. It is a two-storey structure with an attic and features a symmetrical facade made of red brick. The windows are sash style in cased frames without glazing bars. At the eaves, there is a moulded cornice, and the central window on the first floor has a moulded architrave. The windows on either side of this central window have plain keyblocks. The entrance is marked by a central pedimented Tuscan doorcase, which includes a six-panelled door and a semi-circular fanlight that is now filled with coloured leaded lights. The ground floor has three-light sashes that are adorned with slender pilasters and an entablature. The building also features old tiles and two sash box dormers. All the listed buildings on the south side of High Street form a group.
