Description

21 High Street is part of the Warwick Arms Hotel and dates back to 1781. This building features a two-storey plus attic design with a three-window red brick facade. It has painted stone dressings, including a stone string band at the first-floor level. The windows are sashes set in cased frames with keyblocks. On the right side, there are rusticated quoins opposite those of No 23. There is likely a later pedimented doorcase on the left side. The roof is covered with old tiles, and there is a sash box dormer and a cornice. It is said to contain an 18th-century panelled room. All the listed buildings on the south side of High Street form a group.
