Description

Nos 11 and 13 on High Street are a pair of buildings dating from around the second quarter of the 19th century. They have a two-storey facade with six windows, finished in stucco. The ground floor has been rebuilt in modern ashlar work. The upper storey features sash windows set in cased frames without glazing bars, and is adorned with moulded architraves and an entablature that includes a pulvinated frieze. There is a string band at sill level with balustraded spaces underneath, a dentilled cornice, and a parapet. The roof is covered with Welsh slates and includes a box dormer. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the south side of High Street.
