BAGINTON 6/21 Ruins of Castle 160 yards west of Church of St John 11.4.67 the Baptist

Circa C14 sandstone ashlar ruins which consists of the basement of a rectangu- lar building. There is a projecting stair turret on the west and the remains are divided into five vaulted apartments, the responds still being in position. The remaining walls are from 2 ft to 6 ft high.
