Description

This is a circa 1600 timber-framed cottage located on Vicarage Road. The exterior is a mix of painted brick and some wattle and daub infill panels, set on a sandstone plinth. The steeply pitched thatched roof has gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, and has two windows. It features 19th century two-light casement windows with glazing bars. There is one gabled dormer and one eyebrow dormer window. Brick chimney stacks mark both ends of the building. A brick lean-to extension is present at the southwest end.
