Description

Oldfield Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse with an 18th-century brick facade, located on the east side of Old Warick Road in Rowington. The building has a cross-gabled roof covered in old plain tiles, with a brick ridge stack in the centre featuring four diagonally set flues. It likely originated as a two-unit lobby-entry plan. The farmhouse is two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. A plank door is centrally positioned, and it has three-light casement windows with segmental brick heads on the ground and first floors to the left and right. A single-light casement window is located centrally on the first floor. Cross-gables are present to the left and right, with a casement window in the left cross-gable. The rear and sides display small timber framing with brick infill. The interior has not been inspected.
