Description

Grove Farmhouse is an early 18th century red brick house. It has a plain tile roof with gabled ends, a heavy brick dentilled eaves cornice, and a stringcourse. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are three-light casements, with the centre first-floor window being two-light; all have glazing bars and rendered heads. A central fielded panel door is set within a moulded doorcase and has a flat hood. Brick chimney stacks are located at the gable ends. Contemporary gabled wings extend from the rear, continuing the stringcourse from the front range.
