Description

A pair of gate-piers, dating from around 1723, are located at the entrance to the churchyard of St John in Honiley. These gate-piers are made of ashlar and are square in shape, featuring large moulded caps and ball finials. The sides are panelled, and the front of each pier has round-headed niches with coats of arms positioned above. Each pier is flanked by volutes that are supported by brick walls on either side.
