Description
Longdon Manor Dovecote is an 18th-century structure located approximately 15 meters northwest of the Manor House. It is built of brick in Flemish bond, with some limestone, and features a tiled roof. The dovecote has two storeys. The lower stage is constructed of 18th-century brick with some stone, and it has moulded wood lintels on two sides. One corner includes an ashlar Doric column, and there is a doorway at the center. On the left facade, there is a wood window, although the casement is now missing. The second stage is also made of brick and has a wood doorway at the rear. Inside, the floor separates the first and second stages. The second stage contains nesting boxes made of brick pillars interspersed with stone slates, and the roof retains its original purlins.
