Description
This is a barn with an attached shelter shed, dated 1805, located approximately 20 metres south-east of Thelsford Farmhouse in Charlecote. The barn is built of brick on a stone plinth and features gabled tile roofs.
The exterior includes a three-bay design with a west side that has a top cogged cornice and an elliptical-headed threshing floor entrance with paired doors. To the left of the entrance is an inserted window, and to the right is an attached 20th-century range. The north end of the barn has an entrance, a pitching hole, and the initials "JL" (likely for John Lucy) along with the date displayed in breathers. The rear of the barn features a gabled porch with a cambered lintel leading to doors and an open-fronted shelter shed that projects to the right.
The interior has not been inspected. This barn is part of a notable early 19th-century farmyard group.
