Description
Nos. 13 to 17 Church Street is a terrace of five houses built in the early to mid-19th century. Constructed of brick, the houses feature a hipped roof covered with 20th-century tiles and three brick ridge stacks. The terrace has a double depth plan and stands three storeys tall, with a five-window range. The entrance doors are flat, six-panelled, and set in simple moulded wood doorcases. There is a passage entrance between Nos. 15 and 16, which has a round arch and a fanlight above it. The windows are 16-pane sashes, some of which date from the late 20th century, and are topped with painted stone flat arches that have rusticated voussoirs and keyblocks. The second floor is notably low and has plain lintels. At the rear, the houses have parallel gables. The interior has not been inspected.
