Description

Yerdley Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located on Vicarage Lane in Long Compton. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with quoins, and has coped gables and a tile roof with stone ridge stacks. The farmhouse has a roughly L-shaped layout. The front facade features a 2-storey, 3-window arrangement of 2- and 3-light mullioned windows, alongside 20th-century casement windows with wooden lintels. A 20th-century stone porch contains a 20th-century door, and a 19th-century plank door, also within a 20th-century porch, is situated at the rear. Further 20th-century casement windows are present on the left-hand side. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to contain features of interest. The building is included on the list for its group value.
