Description
Manor House is an early 19th-century building located on Main Street in Long Compton. The house features part-rendered, squared coursed limestone with a slate roof, along with rendered and brick ridge and end stacks. It has a T-shaped plan and is two stories high, with a four-window range of two-light Gothick casements that have wooden lintels, and some fragments of colored glass can be seen. To the left, there are French doors with margin bars, and a Gothick panelled-glazed door is situated at the center within a decorative porch. The rear of the house includes additional Gothick and plain casements. The interior has not been inspected. It is noted that the windows are said to have originally come from Weston House, which has since been demolished.
