Description
The Bull Inn is an early 19th-century inn situated on Bull Street, Southam. It is constructed of brick, rendered to the front, with a plinth and a bracketed timber eaves cornice. The roof is slate, with brick ridges and end stacks. The inn has a 3-unit plan and a 3-window range to the front. The upper floors feature 19th-century three-light casement windows. The ground floor has canted bays, and a four-panelled door recessed within a plain stuccoed doorcase. To the left, a carriage arch incorporates two early 19th-century sash windows above. An original scrolled wrought-iron sign is located on the first floor. The rear of the building includes 19th-century brick gabled ranges. Inside, there is a 19th-century spine beam on the ground floor, featuring stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
