Description
The gate piers and wall to the south side of the Umberslade Hall kitchen garden date from the 18th century, with 20th-century gates situated between the piers. The gate piers are made of ashlar and are square in shape, standing approximately 3 meters high. They feature a frieze, cornice, and blocking course, and are connected by a semi-circular overthrow made of cast iron. The wall to the south, which is about 8 meters long, is constructed from reddish-brown brick and topped with ashlar copings. This structure forms a group with the walls surrounding the walled garden.
