Description

Cadbold Farmhouse is a brick farmhouse dating from around 1800. Built in a Flemish garden wall bond, it has a brick plinth and gables with kneelers, topped by a dentilled eaves cornice. The roof is slate, laid in diminishing courses, with brick end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with a three-window front. The plan is of two units. The centre of the front has a 20th-century panelled door, surrounded by a moulded pilaster and a flat hood. The ground and first floors have 20th-century three-light casement windows on either side of the door, with a two-light casement in the centre of the first floor. All windows are topped with segmental brick arches. A two-storey, two-window range extends to the rear. Inside, some chamfered beams feature run-out stops.
