Description

102 and 102A High Street is a house and shop dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick laid in Flemish bond with stucco dressings and features a slate roof with a brick end stack. The building has a single-unit plan facing the street.

The exterior consists of three storeys and a single-window range. At the top, there is a brick cornice adorned with wide dentils. The shop front includes a modillioned cornice above a plate-glass window and a recessed entrance with a door that has a segmental-headed glass panel. To the left, there is another entrance featuring an architrave and a canopy above a six-fielded-panel door. The first floor has a window with a stucco wedge lintel and a key block over a six-over-six horned sash window in a wide frame. The second floor has a similar window with a sill and a four-over-eight horned sash window.

The interior has not been inspected.
