Description
The lead statue of a shepherdess, located on the north side of the forecourt at Charlecote Park, was created in 1718 by Edward Hurst for George Lucy. This almost life-size statue depicts a shepherdess dressed in a bodice and short skirt, holding a crook and a lamb while leaning against a bough. It is likely in its original position and is currently owned by the National Trust.
