Description
The lead statue of a shepherd, located on the north side of the forecourt at Charlecote Park, dates from 1718 and was created by Edward Hurst for George Lucy. This almost life-size statue depicts a shepherd dressed in a short tunic and wide-brimmed hat, accompanied by a dog and a flute, leaning against a bough. It is likely in its original position and is now owned by the National Trust.
