Description

This headstone, located approximately 5 meters southwest of Dale Cottage in Old St. Peter's Churchyard, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is made of carved ironstone and features a moulded cornice along with a central broken segmental pediment adorned with a winged head. The design includes crossed palm leaves, a moulded fielded panel, and volutes decorated with flowers and fruit, showcasing very high relief carving.
