Description
The Fields House is an early 19th-century house located in Southam. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond and features a 20th-century tiled hipped roof with brick end stacks. The house has a central staircase plan and stands three storeys tall, with a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows. The sash windows on the first and ground floors are adorned with rusticated stone flat arches. The entrance consists of a panelled and glazed door that is topped with a Gothick fanlight, framed by a pilaster surround and an open pediment. There are 19th-century one-storey brick additions on both the left and right sides of the house. At the rear, there is a colourwashed brick range that includes Gothick-style sashes and a doorway. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
