Beech Hurst is a house built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond and features a stone plinth. The roof is slate with brick end stacks. The building has a central-staircase plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows that have rusticated flat arches. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a panelled surround and a fanlight, set within a Doric porch that has an entablature. There is a one-storey lean-to on the left side and a 19th-century extension on the right. The rear of the house also has 12-pane sashes and canted bays on the ground floor. Inside, there are six-panelled doors on the ground floor and a 19th-century stick baluster staircase.
