Description
Paddocks Farmhouse is a farmhouse that may have originally served as a worker's house for a canal wharf. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with later additions made in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with a dentil cornice and features an old tiled roof with a large central chimney stack.
The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has a one-window range. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed four-panelled door. To the right of the door, there are three-light windows that include a horizontal glazing bar, and all openings are topped with brick segmental arches. The return sides of the building have brick nogged gables, while the left side features both a three-light and a two-light attic window. The rear of the farmhouse has 19th-century gables. The interior has not been inspected.
