Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 3 meters south of the southeast corner of the Church of All Saints in Burton Dassett. They date from the mid to late 18th century and are made of moulded ironstone. Each tomb features moulded plinths and tops, along with square-corner balusters. The tomb situated about 3 meters to the south is dated 1775 and has two incised panels on its long sides and one on its ends. The second tomb, located about 2 meters to the south, is dated 1798 and has a single incised panel. The inscriptions on these tombs commemorate William and Mary Townsend Harding Clark.
